Hey, folksI have pretty much just random shots I took. And liked. And kept.
To preserve the memory, and the feeling of that moment. I don't take pictures for anyone else but myself. I sure as hell am no photographer.
I am my own catcher in the rye, and I think the second you start taking pictures or write things for anyone other than to pinpoint that emotion in yourself, to be able to point to and recognize later when the thought escapes you, is the second when you forget what the spontaneity and spirit of art is all about.
So, what I'm hoping comes through in my gallery, is that these are snapshots, freeze frames, of memories of my life, in a million other places with a million other people on a million other days, and I think it's cool if you can look at them and identify some part of you, that you've experienced or long for or don't yet recognize or touched upon in another reality in them. That's how I think of art.
